There's an open source equivalent to many of these things called wire
(wire.com), an efl frontend would be awesome, I don't see the point in
developing another backend / service when something thats open source
and good enough likely already exists.
Sure, no need to reinvent the wheel. But the point is indendancy of a
centralized server.
