without more information like backtraces etc. i can't say. i don't see this. if
*ALL* tasks pause then it certainly has nothing t(o do with e. you may have to
be more specific. do all tasks pause? does xserver hang (mouse pointer doesn't
move at all). mouse pointer moves but nothing else reacts or renders? if all
tasks pause then there is no way you can debug it as nothing will run (can't
run any processes to do the debug). can't ssh in etc. ... so ... you're going
to have to be very specific on what is pausing to begin to even know what may
be happening. of course my first advice would be "upgrade... you're on an old
release. bugs may be fixed already."... :)
