There is an old e17 module trash that will add a trash can to the e17
desktop. We have a moksha version in Bodhi linux's repo.

Presumably it works well enough. I don't really pay much attention to old
modules we still package unless it is reported to me that something is
wrong with it. Or I use the module myself. So i haven't looked at the code
in a long time. That said it may have issues just not reported ones. I
don't use it and as a general rule don't like icons on my desktop.
Regardless naturally it will not compile as is on e24. In all likelihood
that would not be too difficult to fix. I wouldn't know without trying.
Still if one got it working on e24 EFM as raster noted does not support
trash. But other more traditional file managers do.
