Ok, found. The new configuration had three buttons emulation turned on
and that makes middle click acting as right click, while indeed clicking
both left and right button does paste the selction. Now i turned off
emulation but i also had to restart E for the changes to have effect.

terminology -> terminology
terminology -> gedit
gedit -> terminology
gedit -> ecrire
ecrire -> chromium
chromium -> ecire
terminology -> chromium
chromium -> terminology
ecrire just uses the regular elm entry as its editor so this will then apply
to all entries done by elm, so using any entry in elementary_test will be the
same. terminology uses the elm cnp api directly to do this.
