because x apps are still pretty much everywhere and having compatibility is
pretty much a necessary. wayland support in e is experimental and has issues
and until wayland support is good enough to totally replace x support you
should always have the x support there. also i don't test with NO x11 support. i
don't have time.  if i'm not testing  it it's probably broken. if i can get
help with the wayland support to properly polish it (i just don't have time to
do that and i'm focusing on things that are in x11 or are independent of x11 or
wayland - those are where my time is going).
