Hello everyone!
I have a problem with my Enlightenment's Mixer. Last time I've been
using Enlightenment it was under Gentoo with packages from testing
repository (so the newer ones) enabled. Back then everything was fine.
After some time I came back to Gentoo but with only stable packages
enabled by default. I checked - it doesn't change anything in
Enlightenment of EFL themselves. I am however experiencing lacking some
functionality, i.e.:
1) Mixer won't allow me to set volume higher than 100% as it
used to
2) There's no more option to change audio output in Mixer when
connecting to bluetooth speaker
3) There used to be those fancy and useful volume bars on title
bar of every playing window... they're gone
After some digging I guess it's some problem with integration between
PulseAudio and EFL. Pavucontrol works as it should, everything's in
place. So I guess PulseAudio itself is OK.
Does anyone have any ideas what to do? Or maybe it's just a matter of
older versions of some packages (alsa-lib 1.2.6.1 instead of 1.2.7, and
linux kernel 5.15.41)?
Hi,
I am also back to gentoo and try to stick to stable package for E, efl
and all. (alsa-lib 1.2.6.1, pulseaudio 16.0 and kernel 5.15.41)
I do not encounter the 1) & 3) (but I don't have any bluetooth speaker
to test 2).
The volume bar on the window only appears if there is playback on the
application.
Regards,
