Hi Jorge, yes, it is. from the manual: Issues Related to Mixed Type Stacks Feature Support Because the SecureStack C2 and C3 switches have different hardware architectures, the functionality supported by the two switch types is different. When the two types of switches are mixed in a stack, the functionality supported will be the lowest common denominator of features supported on all platforms. Refer to the firmware Release Notes for information about supported features. Configuration Common Firmware Version Mixed stacking is only supported by SecureStack C2 firmware version 5.00.xx and higher. (If you are using a C3K switch, the firmware version must be 5.02.xx or higher.) In order to mix SecureStack C3 switches with C2 switches, you must install the C2 firmware (version 5.00.xx or higher, or version 5.02.xx or higher for C3K devices) on the C3 switch. You can install the C2 firmware first, with the C3 switch in stand‐alone mode, or you can add the C3 switch to the stack and then copy the C2 firmware to the C3 switch using the set switch copy‐fw command (page 2‐ 10). After copying the C2 firmware to the C3 switch, you must reset the stack. Switch Manager It is recommended that a SecureStack C3 switch be made the manager of a mixed stack. Use the set switch movemanagement command (page 2‐11) to change the manager unit.
