Hi,
With a stack of 5 x C2's - what's the best way to find out which switch
relates to which position in the config if we assume you can't get to
the back of the switch to see it's serial number?
Does the numbering scheme always relate to the result of the show ver
command?
So in the example below, is the first one listed always ge.1 and the
next ge.2 etc?
I know there's other ways such as show port stat and see which link
lights it corresponds with, or look for clues like uplinks ports, but
was hoping for something more obvious.
Would be great if there was some command like "identify switch 1" and
have it flash some lights on the front panel - like on an HP RAID array
- to save having to crawl round the back to look at serial numbers
although I guess multiple users connected concurrently and issuing the
command could cause confusion.
