Hi,

Usually, we define a vlan just for voice(security reasons).

The DHCP normally is normally attributed by some dhcp server. So what you need is one thing called "IP HELP ADDRESS". You also have to forward the protocol/port.

In another words:

router

enable

config

Interface vlan 10

 ip address 192.168.15.1 255.255.255.0
 ip helper-address IP_OF_SERVER

exit

ip forward-protocol udp 68

exit




 

Hello,

 

I need to find a place where to put DHCP for Voice, it should work only in VLAN 10 (tagged).

Can I define two management IP addresses on G3 and then put one in VLAN and make DHCP on that address? and how to do that?

I couldn’t find it in manuals.
