Nope ­ no-one replied ­ I think ATG Tools or similar is the only solution
for now which is a fair bit more work.
Weird though ­ I¹d have thought it¹s essential functionality to have this as
a queryable OID.
The temperature monitoring hardware is obviously there so it does strike me
as a glaring omission and I can¹t think of a good reason why it wouldn¹t be
there?

Anyone from Enterasys got a view?
