Hello For our wireless network our VNS uses a DHCP relay for the clients. However at the moment some devices on our wireless network are taking all the allocated address ranges up with BAD_ADDRESS. We use a Windows 2003 server as our DHCP server.
I've noticed that these devices seem to be Sony devices and the NAC has initially identified them as Play station 2. What I have to is blacklist the mac addresses on the HiPath controller. Is this problem related to bug #wns0004554 or #wns0003708 that's mentioned in the release notes for the latest C4100 HiPath firmware? We had this problem this time last year where new students bring their devices on the campus network and just ended up having to blacklist the mac addresses. So far I have had to blacklist a few addresses that all start with 00:1F:A7 or 00:1D:0D Has anyone had the same issue?
