Hi, We've discovered that Expect works well enough for quick work as you've probably already figured out. I'd recommend only using that for work that's not critical or risks production failure.
If you're doing a large infrastructure update or change, I'd really recommend using the NMS because if you fail to address an issue on an upstream switch, then downstream switches suffer. NMS can deal with this. Also consider your network security. I wouldn't recommend allowing SSH access to your switches from any addresses that aren't secure (read: Admin computers). We would like to make batch changes to multiple switches automatically, so it would need to be automated (no prompting). . --To unsubscribe from enterasys, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe enterasys [email protected] . --To unsubscribe from enterasys, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe enterasys [email protected] . --To unsubscribe from enterasys, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe enterasys [email protected] . --To unsubscribe from enterasys, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe enterasys [email protected] . --To unsubscribe from enterasys, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe enterasys [email protected] --- To unsubscribe from enterasys, send email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe enterasys [email protected]
