Hello all,

I have been trying to get a test IP Phone to fail while a call is in progress
by generating udp traffic on the uplink. I can cause the phone to voice server
to fail to connect if I start the udp traffic (Jperf) ahead of picking up the
receiver. However once the phone is connected to the called IPphone I cannot
get the voice to show signs of degradation. Examining the data traces I find
that the called phone has set a layer two priority of 6 and the DSCP is set for
explicit. The calling phone has no layer 2 priority set but it does have DSCP
set also for explicit.
The calling phone sits in one C3 that is uplinked to another C3 where the
called phone resides.
My question is does the C3 automatically recognize DSCP and place the data in
the higher que?

thnks
