Hi Adam,

from my point of view there is a difference in "LACP long/short tmeout". This can be changed on Cisco only when you are running "special" IOS versions.

This timeout can be changed on Enterays produkts by

set port lacp port port-string {[aadminkey aadminkey] [aadminstate {lacpactive | lacptimeout | lacpagg | lacpsync | lacpcollect | lacpdist | lacpdef | lacpexpire}] [aportpri aportpri] [asyspri asyspri] [enable | [disable] [padminkey padminkey] [padminport padminport] [padminportpri padminportpri] [padminstate {lacpactive | lacptimeout | lacpagg | lacpsync | lacpcollect | lacpdist | lacpdef | lacpexpire}]
[padminsysid padminsysid] [padminsyspri padminsyspri]

Kind regards
Reinhard

We recently had our switch training class and it was mentioned about
changing the timings when creating a LAG between a Cisco device and
Enterasys. I can't seem to recall the exact commands or which device the
timings need to be changed. Anyone know what they were talking about and
know the commands?

Thanks.
