Hi, I come by trying to close or revive some old bugs that were dormant for way too long.
In regard to smb-v1 / smb-v3.11 In this case Ubuntu Bionic and later (currently on 2:4.7.6+dfsg~ubuntu-0ubuntu2) recognize samba 3.11 (This was referred to in [1], but was only true for Xenial, anything later - and bionic existed at the time - was ok).
