Exactly, it's located in Microsoft Windows Certificate Store.

You can view and manage installed certificates using "certmgr.exe" util (it's a MMC)

To enable this functionality you need to set the following:

A question: certs are enabled (i can confirm it, my servers get 'green'
against my private/internal CA), but are not managed via firefox cert
interfaces (eg, Options -> Advanced -> Certificates -> Show), right?

I cannot ever 'see' that certs on that interface, right?
