I tried both. Typical didn't make any change; Advanced seemed to make a new
contact. I still had the existing Matt Ridley contact, with email address
and so on, and also had a new one, with just my name and company, no
categories or other info. That new one was set as my "me contact". I then
tried to switch the existing full one to be my "me contact", and I'm back in
the same situation. I'm going to recreate my contact from scratch, then try
to delete the existing one, which must be corrupt in some way. I'll let you
know how it goes.
