Recently in accessing various microsoft news groups from the msnews server I will sometimes get bogus counts of unread messages. No new messages show in the window, but the newsgroup name is bolded with a count of unread messages beside it. Hitting "Mark All Read" clears it up for the nonce. And on one occasion I had all of the messages stored on the server for one newsgroup suddenly show up, even though I'd gone through the process of marking all of them as read when I first set it up. Is this an Entourage Newsgroup Cache issue, or is it something on the server end?
