Y'know, I really hate to say this, but after all the work I put into
developing this script, and all of the good comments I've gotten on it, it's
really a lot easier to do this directly in Word, without using any scripts
at all.
I hadn't actually tried Word's Envelopes feature, but today, while in the
process of trying to figure out how to automate the process, I discovered
that the built-in menu options are already pretty well automated.
For those who want things like Company and Title, a script is the better way
to go, but for most personal correspondence it should do what you want just
fine. If you've not tried Envelopes... on Word's Tools menu, I'd urge you to
take a look at it. Even easier, in Project Explorer select the Envelope
Wizard. Doing things directly in Word also solves the problem of
international addresses (I have no overseas correspondents, so never even
thought about adding the country; very Americentric, I know).
