The best way I’ve found for opening up Erage, along every other oft-used program, is to create a separate folder (APPS), fill it will the aliases of these dozen programs, let it reside in the Applications folder, but place an alias of it in the Startup folder, and then ‘zip tab’ it down at the bottom of the screen. Faster than a control strip and it automatically zips back down once I double click a program alias. Also, nothing resides on and clutters up my Desktop that way. I have another zip’d tab called Current, where all the stuff I’m working on this week hangs out.
Then there’s always QuicKeys. Command-Opt-O opens Entourage for me.
