Yes, the implementation of scripting for the Address Book in Word is really
minimal. It's not even possible using Word VBA to directly access it. The
only way is to treat the address book as a mail merge source, and that's
really very cumbersome. It's actually easier to just use the Data Merge
Manager to start with.
