Well, just for the record, I'll voice my primary problem with HTML, even on *this* list. It can be summed up in one word: font. When I receive a plain-text message, it's displayed in the font I want to see, the one I've selected that's easiest for me to read. When someone sends a message in HTML, then I have to deal with the font they've selected.
