No, that's Micro$oft as well, who has tacked .Net onto everything to be hip.
I got my Word.Net domain back in 1995 before the .net land rush of mid-2000
created by their ".Net" initiative.
Have you really never been enraged by a Microsoft product? If so, I'd
hazard a guess that you're in the minority of Mac users. Just because they
make us angry doesn't mean we don't use their products (at least some of us
;-)
