I've asked this once before, but I'll try again...
Periodically I keep having bogus "unread" messages show up in various
newsgroups on the Microsoft news server. Sometimes the name of the newsgroup
is bolded with a count next to it (but nothing shows up in the message pane
when I click on it), and sometimes I'm getting messages from a couple days
ago that I know I've already seen (because I've replied to some of them).
Is the news server at fault, or is this a problem with my newsgroup cache
file? It doesn't seem to happen with newsgroups on other servers, so I
suspect the former.
