A recurring question around here is how to keep Entourage data files synched
between desktop Macs and PowerBooks/iBooks. It's been suggested that you use
removable media for this. Here's another alternative that I think will work:

(1) You need to be using Mac OS 9.x on both machines
(2) Get iTools and set up your iDisk
(3) Before leaving on your trip, place a copy of your Microsoft User Data
folder on your iDisk (once you've done this the first time, you could just
copy the relevant data files)
(4) With the PowerBook/iBook connected to the Internet and the iDisk
mounted, put an alias to the MUD folder on your iDisk onto your hard drive;
name it "Microsoft User Data"

To use Entourage while traveling you'd need to connect to the Internet and
mount your iDisk before launching the app, but you'd then be accessing the
data files on your iDisk (I think). When you get home, simply copy the MUD
folder (or at least the data files) back to your desktop's hard drive.

If you really wanted to, you could use an alias to the iDisk's MUD folder on
your desktop machine, but then you'd always have to be connected to the
Internet with your iDisk mounted to use Entourage.

I also realize that this "solution" could be somewhat problematic with a
slow connection.
