Do you know anything about the frequency-settings. I work for television and
sometimes need to film a computerscreen with an old analog-crap-beta-camera.
For that purpose it's nice to be able to adjust the screens frequency so as
to avoid the rolling-screen-syndrom. (DV cams do something else, so it's not
a problem)
Any ideas?

The iMac does have limited resolutions: 640 x 480, 800 x 600, and 1024 x
