What does it take to have something added to Mactopia's FAQ for Entourage
section? I was curious to see if they'd documented the "Copy the Microsoft
Internet Library to the Office subfolder" to address the E'rage/MSIE crashes
that have aggravated so many users.
As I usually do when looking for one thing, I stumbled unexpectedly on
something else. In Entourage Tips and Tricks, I learned how to get a
definition of a word in an Entourage item from a contextual menu (did you
know about that?)
Continuing my search: In the Top Support Issues for Entourage 2001
I saw several issues about Palm synchronization and how to publish your
calendar as a web page, but nothing was listed in the top 11 hits re: the
Entourage/MSIE problem.
How would a new Entourage user know about a searchable archive for the
Entourage-talk list or how to subscribe to same?
Information is accumulating, and, thanks to the
microsoft.public.office.mac.entourage newsgroup and the Entourage-Talk
Digest, I've learned quite a lot. But it seems the burden has fallen to a
handful of patient individuals to repeat the suggested fixes and
workarounds.
Any thoughts on what would make MacTopia a more reliable source of info for
new and veteran users alike? Is a third-party site a solution?
Do any of you have some info resources for this product I haven't yet
discovered? TIA
