I'm afraid it's not quite that simple, Allen. I, too, have a curly single
quote (i.e., "don�t") as my AutoCorrect entry in Word, but I still get the
straight single quote when I omit it in "don't" (just like that!).

(I assume you meant the setup in Word; I don't see anywhere in Entourage to
specify AutoCorrect entries.)
