COPY (option-drag) the old one (with all your custom stuff) to OS X
HD/Users/[you]/Library/Preferences/Microsoft to replace the new blank one
there.

Possibly. More likely, they may already be set to use the one in that
location but if not - yes, do so in the Spelling preferences of each app.
Start with Word, which is "master" of Custom Dictionaries.
