Allen I sent this message via the newsgroup and didn't notice a reply, so perhaps I should have sent it here instead (more about that below).
This is regarding the script you created to automate contact-to-task function. The "Check Syntax" had been reporting an error, and you replied about that in the newsgroup. One day prior to that, Paul had replied and showed me how to replace the question marks with "Option" + "=". That cleared up that syntax error. Now I run check syntax and get a different error message: "Expected expression but found the end of the line." What else needs to be done? I also look forward to when you add to the script (at your convenience, no rush) so the cursor is tabbed to the note field. That will be a very useful script. Thank you for doing all you have done. With the issue about which I originally communicated to Paul in the newsgroup, there were many "glitches" along the way until I finally arrived at a solution. This process meant many. many communications with Paul, so he finally understandably said "no more." He then referred me to this subscription list. So is this the place where people go if they are no longer allowed on the public newsgroup? That's okay with me, for now that the first difficult issue is solved, I won't have need for too many communications.
