This is one I'm beginning to get very tired of answering. Tome for an FAQ
page.

The QuickFilter searches only what's actually in the columns on the page
(list). It doesn't search the actual messages - that's how it's so fast.,
The From column has only the display name (Adam Bailey), not the email
address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), UNLESS, as you say, you leave out a display name
when sending.

The simple Find searches only on Subjects of messages, Titles of calendar
events, or Names of contacts, tasks and notes, That's what it means by "only
subjects, titles and names", although it doesn't explain it very well.

Press option-F: the Advanced Find will search on whatever you want. If you
have a message selected,, it will even be preset to search on "From Contains
[EMAIL PROTECTED]", just as you want. And in Entourage X, it's really pretty
fast.
