Dave, If I understand your suggestion, I can create a "temp" folder on my IMAP server, drag messages into the temp folder, then back to my inbox - at which time the MLM rules will operate. Paul, your "alternative approach" seems to be the same as what Dave suggested - or did I misunderstand? I think if I drag the messages from Inbox to another folder on the same server it should be fairly painless, and avoid the need to delete the messages. Regarding your first suggestion (and Dave's second), it would mean duplicating each MLM rule as an IMAP rule because I use a different action for each mailing list. I think the method of moving the messages will be cleaner for me.
