That's correct. >(Or > not...) But Entourage behaves the same way even if the destination is a > "Note" instead of an email message. > > So once again, am I missing something here? Why won't Entourage allow such > hyperlinks to be "clickable"? Think it through. If a link became clickable the instant it became a valid URL, then as soon as you had typed http://w or maybe http://www.macsurfer.com you would never be able to get your cursor in there to extend it or fix it or change it. It would click you off to a 404 every time! That's why editable text is not clickable. If you save the message and go visit it in the Drafts folder with Preview pane showing you'll see it's clickable and uneditable there until you double-click the message into its own window to become a draft window again. Similarly, if you select Edit Message on a received message, all its links will become unclickable until you save it again. (If in Preview Pane, you have to exit the window and come back too.) -- Paul Berkowitz -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
