I spent some time yesterday converting all of my 2001 identities to X identities. I would start the conversion by creating a new identity with the same name, then close the new user assistant. I then would set up the identity to be Work Offline, and display the small navigation buttons.
The last thing I'd do is go to the Accounts window and delete the Microsoft News Server account (because it would come in from the import). Hitting Cmd-W with no accounts not only closed the Accounts window (correct), but also the Main window (huh?). It was annoying, because I either had to reopen the Main window or click the close box on the Accounts window (which worked correctly). At least I don't have to do that again! -- Glenn L.
