Good Day, I am running Entourage X and EIMS 3.1 with the OS-X admin (great upgrade Glenn). I am moving my personal mail account from POP3 to IMAP all within Entourage X. (I have need to access my mail from a work desktop and a laptop - and no longer want to fight with copying the database around when I travel or go home for the evening)
My questions ... 1) I am getting an error when I try to create a sub folder in the IMAP folder structure indicating that the server allows messages or folders but not both. I have not put any messages in the folder and it still won't allow me to create a sub-folder. What can I do in either Entourage or EIMS? 2) Entourage will not allow me to drag folders of messages from a POP account to an IMAP account (perhaps the same problem as above). Clearly this would be the easiest way to recreate my POP structure in IMAP (and to then delete the POP structure all together. (The alternative is to create every folder manually and then to drag the messages in as a group folder by folder - not fun). 3) Entourage rules (sorry EIMS folks for the cross post!) are set by POP and IMAP - any advice on how to recreate dozens of rules beside the obvious manual process?
