Dear Andrew M. Miller, ... regarding (your message of 2/2/02 7:36 PM):
> I'm just curious how many people here used Claris Emailer (I recognize quite > a few names from back when I was on that list). > > Are there any features from Emailer you still miss? (besides AOL support, of > course :-) What I miss the most: -The "compactness" of Emailer's interface: It just seems that Emailer used less real estate on my desktop -Dedicated window for folders; also, it would be nice to have mail only folders in their own window. -Ability to hide folders in that window. -I seemed to have more control over creating filters. -Simpler, easier Find command: I liked the way Emailer searched message, folder or all messages and that "intuitive auto-paste" (can't describe it really, but those who used Emailer know what I mean...) What I like in Entourage: -Custom views -Integration with office: spellchecker, dictionary, address book etc. On the whole, Entourage was a surprisingly easy changeover for me. So easy that I sometimes think they were designed by the same people... I've had a much harder time getting used to the Entourage PIM, coming from the Palm desktop - which I still might go back to. On the other hand, integrating the PIM and email client is a great thing! So I don't know and hope that a) Entourage's PIM gets better or b) the Palm desktop gets an integrated email client... - Theo Angell -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
