One suspect when things double up is categories. The mesh between the Palm and Entourage has to be perfect. If you changed the category of events in Entourage and then hot sync it may create new copies in both because it does not find a match. I can't say for sure that is what happened, but I know something like that can be a problem. To get rid of duplicates: I recommend using Entourage. There is no quick way, though. In month view, go through all the calendar events , select each one you want to delete with Control-Click and select " Delete".
