Just ran out of ink so I can't confirm, but when I do this (click the print
button after selecting a date other than today), theprint dialog preview
comes up showing today's date. So you are right; that is a bug. However, you
can click on the little calendars in the upper left part of the dialog box
and select a different date there; you can even select a starting and ending
date and print several days at once. (Just got the ink replaced; and it
works. Slow as hell, but it works. You can even select different forms in
EvX, like Daytimer and Franklin Planner pages.)

As for a book: I recommend "Office 2001: The Missing Manual" by Nan Barber,
O'Reilly Press. Excellent information!
