Personally I have not learned to live without my Palm, and it is a real pain trying to cope with alternatives... At least the Q'sync or whatever it's called gives some minimal, but useful support.
HOWEVER, There is also no point in crabbing about what MS is or is not doing. They have no inherent interest in making me suffer without my PDA, and I doubt that they se who will slack off today just to delay some Mac oriented project. They are a big company, resource bound and the individuals who work in the Mac BU are just that, employees. I don't expect anyone at MS to become a suicide bomber for the cause of Mac Liberation. They just have jobs like (most of) the rest of us and try to get through the day and maybe take a little pride in their work when they can. So, If you want to sync your pda and calendar and mail, and phone book today, and you can't wait for the E'rage conduit, switch to Windows. Personally, I use OS X, Windows XP, and Solaris: and there is no question in my mind that if I had to have only one, it'd be the mac, MS warts and all.
