Hello all wondering if any of you have any ideas on this one ...
my boss using OS9 and Entourage 2001 managed to delete a folder he didn't mean to ... :-( but he has a backup that will have it on it .... or so we thought ... but Entourage refuses to startup with the new files in the M/S folder ... repeatedly gets an 'unexpected end of line' error ... We have tried creating a new identity and then swapping the newly created user files with all those from the backup, swapping files into main identity - putting old files back in does bring the programme to life again so the logic is correct but something is obviously not right with one of the backup files ... Have tried rebuilding the database .. same error ...
