I had terrible problems with leaving the lid open when it would go to sleep automatically: I spent about two months with an Apple tech trying to discover the source of the problem, re-initialized twice, etc. etc. (The iBook would freeze either when Entourage was open or my OS X login screen was up. Never figured that one out.) So, like you, I started always closing the lid, because then i wouldn't get the freeze. instead, I'd get this network-access error in Entourage. Finally, now , I just turn off auto-sleep and lave the lid open and everything's OK except when I disconnect and bring the iBook with me to the next location sleeping with the lid shut. -- Paul Berkowitz -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
