Yes, that's correct. When you signify that a recurring task is complete,
that instance of it is "sloughed off" as an individual, complete,
non-recurring task, and the recurring task gets re-activated, including its
reminder. This is actually very desirable when you've set the recurrence to
be of the sort that only creates the next instance when the current instance
is complete. "After task is complete, create a  new task due in one month".
But it is decidedly not good for tasks created according to a firm schedule.
I thin you can even mark tasks complete from the reminder itself (?), so
that should make it easier to take care of.

Today seems to be everybody's day for discovering the recurrence problems in
Entourage (see George Clarks' message about birthdays and custom views).
This recurrence stuff is really very complicated, and the Entourage
programmers have not yet mastered it. There's a lot that needs to be
improved.
