You can quit this program by writing a one line AppleScript in Script Editor, and running it:
tell application “Microsoft Database Daemon” to quit
Try that. Alternatively, try restarting with no extensions (hold down the Shift key).
Nope. The Daemon only exists in Entourage X. We're going to be confusing people with all this X stuff. But they sure would make it easier to get correct answers if they would tell us WHICH VERSION of Entourage they're using.
