You have no idea how much I wish I could, this is a problem I need solved; however, almost everything I receive or discuss by mail, outside of mailing lists such as this, is covered by NDA or other similar contracts. Of course, the only messages that seem to show this problem are the important ones, never the spam.
If there is some kind of diagnostic program or procedure that would give you the information you need to help diagnose the problem, I would be happy to run it. Otherwise, we will need to wait several years before I can send you the message for debugging.

I have gotten the error message listed in the subject an annoying number of times, in all cases when the messages were in languages my computer is easily capable of displaying. In some cases, the message will be properly displayed despite the message, in others, nothing is displayed. Why is this bug occurring, and what is the proper workaround?
System: OS X with all languages installed, OS 9.2.2 with all languages installed.

Can you attach a sample? We give that message when the Text Encoding Converter tells us it couldn’t convert the text.
