No, you're no Hercule Poirot. I sent the message from a different machine that the one that is unable to reply via the "reply" button. Whether the behaviour makes any sense or not, it persists. I cannot reply to any messages via the "reply" button, but can manually address a message to anyone and it sends fine. I've tried rebuilding the entourage database to no avail. In response to some of the other tips: no I have only one email account set up on this machine, and no, no authorization is required (plus, I can send manually addressed emails). I'll check the headers, per Paul's suggestion.
