I have a client who is insisting on keeping their MUD folder on an external pocket FW drive so that they can swap it back and forth between desktop and laptop. Their mail is not IMAP so that's not an option, plus he wants access to his calendar and addresses and stuff. He doesn't want to sync it with a Palm or keep copying the file back and forth. He wants to have it centrally stored on this external HD.
I tried using an alias in the Documents folder and pointing it to the MUD folder on the external drive, but that doesn't seem to work. Any way this is even possible?
