And don't even wonder at the story of me riding my bicycle to Phipps Plaza
mall (in Atltanta), using the MARTA train en-route, and buying System 7 at
the Circuit City.

On my return route, at the second stop, I noticed that my bike's panier
saddle-pouch was gone.

I got off the train, returned to where I had my bike locked _inside_ the
Circuit City front lobby, and looked. I found my pouch, but my two
purchases were gone.

I ended up returning to the damned cash register and buying System 7 AGAIN,
and would you believe this: it was $10 more the second time around!!!

I ranted and raved and thumped and argued about the whole saga, which took
at least 20 minutes for me to figure out that I'd lost my pack and then
another 20 to return to the store. My own receipt, in my pocket, had not
affect on the cashier. And the manager seemed to be smiling and enjoying the
whole heated exchange.

I ended up paying the additional dollars, returning home with no helmet and
my second copy of System 7. I have never purchased another item a Circuit
City since that day.

(And I lost my bike helmet in the whole ordeal. That really sucked. And the
panier pack cost me 89$ to replace.)

Oh, the love I've lost.

Thanks for the humor, Eric.
