As usual, Paul is correct and quite helpful (if Paul Berkowitz didn't exist, someone would have to invent him--he's that important to the health of the Entourage-using community!).
Indeed, I created the script on Jaguar, and tried to port it to OS 9, ignorant of the implications....Thank you.
