There are reports (that I cannot confirm) that OS 10.2.4 may be causing
computer clocks to misfire. I have applied the update. Thereafter, and
perhaps because of this reported bug, several of the systems I have have
lost track of time, commonly reverting to dates in the late 1969/early 1970
time frame.

An OS 10.2.x preventive workaround is to set the time using a network time
server (now, after the horses left the barn, clicked on all mine). Alas,
when the time went haywire, so too did the date/time for messages sent and
messages received.

Is there a means by which I could select a bunch of messages and then apply
a date and time offset to get them back into the century to which they
belong?
