first of all, my current setup is mac os x 10.2.6, entourage 10.1.4, palm desktop 4.0 and palm zire 71.
both my wife and i have been able to sync our palms flawlessly for the past couple of years using various versions of entourage, and i am still able to sync all aspects of entourage, but starting in late august, my wife began to have problems syncing. hotsync crashes with "the application conduit manager has unexpectedly quit..." error if tasks, notes, and/or calendar are checked with any setting of "synchronize" or "entourage overwrites handheld", and the palm quits syncing with "the connection between your handheld computer and the desktop was lost..." the address book is still able to sync but not notes, tasks or calendar. i performed a typical, then an advance rebuild of her database, but neither helped. i then performed a hard reset of the palm, but did not work either. also, i deleted the entourage cache out of the palm user directory, same error. i suspected some kind of bad calendar item, since that seems to be the biggest offender in most troubleshooting cases, so i deleted all events, but it still did not work. deleted tasks, no go. then deleted notes, success, but at that point i am not syncing anything. i then tried deleting notes by itself and no go. then tasks, no go. then calendar, works, but again with essentially no data. finally did the same with tasks, no luck. any suggestions or ideas how to fix this? -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
